Atria Tamalpais Creek Celebrates Renovation

Atria Tamalpais Creek, a local independent and assisted living community with a memory care neighborhood, recently held a grand reopening and ribbon cutting.

Renovations on the Novato facility included the creation of several new outdoor spaces featuring new decks, fire places, and landscaped gardens. Interior improvements included an upscale spa, salon, fitness area, state-of-the-art movie theatre, and casual bistro dining area with outdoor seating. The living room, dining room, activity room, office spaces, and resident apartments all received upgrades as well. A new Life Guidance® memory care neighborhood with a secure private outdoor garden and deck, designed specifically for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments, was also added. As part of the renovation, Atria Tamalpais Creek is positioned to achieve LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and if successful, will be among the first senior living communities in Marin Country to do so.
