Celebrate the Promenade on May Day! It's a parade and party for the Watershed and Multi-Use Paths! Come stroll or roll the new Promenade on Saturday, May 1st!
At 10:30am, we meet on the east/theater entrance side of Northgate and at 11am promenade all the way around on the new multi-use path into Oak Plaza next to Kohl's. In Oak Plaza, we'll have a brief ceremony, FREE live music, dancers, food, beer garden, bike blender smoothies, face painting, watershed and Promenade information and hours of fun to 3pm.
One day---with your help---the Promenade will extend from the Terra Linda Pool, along the Gallinas Watershed, to the Civic Center Marin Lagoon. Promenade Celebrations is a nonprofit project of the North San Rafael Coalition of Residents and MarinLink, eligible for tax-deductible donations to help build the rest of the Promenade.
Approximately 90% of funds donated will go to capital improvements.
