San Rafael Chamber Signature Events
The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce hosts five signature events each year as described below:
Excellence in Education Awards
Annual event to recognize exceptional professionals in the local Educational arena. Event date TBD.
State of the City Dinner
Annual event, also known as "Taste of San Rafael" with the City of San Rafael, with a "State of City" address by Mayor Gary Phillips and an awards ceremony to celebrate Citizen of the Year, Employee of the Year, and the Small and Large Businesses of the Year. The Taste of San Rafael will include samples of culinary creations by Chamber member restaurants and caterers. Cocktails are served, along with dinner and program. Event date TBD.
In 2012 Board of Directors Installation Event will be Combined with the State of the City
Annual event meeting for general membership to recognize the installation of Directors and Officers.
Business Showcase
Annual September premier event to showcase the products, services, and ideas of the Chamber Member businesses to the business community and the general public. Average cost for Exhibitors varies depending on booth category. Admission is complimentary with a business card for $5 entry. The 2012 Business Showcase will be held on Wednesday, September 12th.
Sponsor Appreciation Golf Tournament
This exclusive tournament will take place in the summer and be a day of fun and golf for a select few of our Leaders Circle Sponsors. Exact date and location still TBD.
Forecasting the Future
Annual event featuring esteemed keynote and panel speakers discussing the local and county economy. The 9th Annual Forecasting the Future Economic Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 7:30am to 10:00am.
"Business After 5" Networking Mixers
Hosted by a Chamber Member on the second Wednesday of each month, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, during every month of the year except month of Business Showcase. Admission is complimentary for members. Prospective members are encouraged to contact the Chamber to be placed on Guest List. $20 for all other Non-Members.
